We take immense pleasure in bringing to your kind notice the birth of a training academy in the field of  internal medicine ,pulmonology and critical care in Kerala the Cochin safe Skills Academy of Clinical Training. Critical Care in India is perhaps still in it’s infancy stage. The need for formal training in critical care is largely under appreciated and it is of late that continuing medical education exercises and workshops have started focusing on key aspects of the subject. Simulation exercises in various aspects of critical care may be viewed of as state of the art endeavours and can place exposed personnel far ahead of the rest in handling emergency scenarios.The lack of a critical care training academy in Kerala stands as a stumbling block in imparting quality skills to the junior medical and paramedical persons who are aspiring a carrier in the field.It is with this intend that the Safe Skills Academy has taken its shape.

Cochin Safe Skill academy is first of it’s kind in state of Kerala and one of the few of this sort in India.Led by young dynamic and formally trained practising intensivists in the state of Kerala and abroad the academy offers a range of learning oppurtunities for the budding intensivists , basic doctors, nurses and paramedical personnel in the field of internal medicine, pulmonology and intensive care. Periodic CMEs, updates in the field of Intensive care ,workshops in key aspects of critical care and contact programme with key opinion leaders are planned which will provide the youngsters an excellent chance in imbibing state of the art practises. The academy also has it’s priority on focusing on certain key aspects which are not adequately stressed in undergraduate and post graduate curriculum like safety in critical care , infection control, medical audits and basic life support

    Cochin safeskills academy has great pleasure in inviting you to “RESPIRATORY SYMPOSIUM” which will be held soon at Dubai.The programme will be a full day event.This academic programme will cover some of the core topics in critical care with focus on the most recent updates. Topics will be handled by renowned faculty in critical care , pulmonary medicine and infectious diseases.
